Strategic Initiatives for 2023:

Sustainability

To ensure the long-term sustainability of the Andean Cultural Center of Rhode Island (ACCRI), we will launch a comprehensive fundraising effort that utilizes transparent communication and ensures accountability to our donors. This initiative will involve collaborating with local businesses, organizations, hosting fundraisers, and actively seeking donations from individuals who share our vision. Additionally, we will establish a volunteer program that allows community members to contribute their time and skills to ACCRI, thereby strengthening our network and its capacity for impact.

Exceptional Cultural Programming

Our core mission is to deliver unique cultural experiences that are professional, welcoming, diverse, and inclusive for all. To achieve this, we will focus on developing and presenting exceptional cultural programming that engages and educates our community. This will include hosting events such as art exhibits, music & dance concerts, food festivals, and educational workshops that showcase Andean culture. We will also create opportunities for collaboration with other cultural organizations in Rhode Island to expand our reach and foster new relationships.

Research & Data

As the primary education hub for Andean culture in Rhode Island, we will expand our research and data resources to provide comprehensive tools and information to those interested in learning more. This will include developing an online database of research, analytics, and course offerings related to Andean culture, as well as a newsletter that provides updates on current events, news, and innovation in the space. We will also establish partnerships with local universities and institutions to expand our resources and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our research.

Expand Our Presence

To increase the visibility of ACCRI, we will focus on expanding our social media presence and network. This will involve launching targeted social media campaigns to engage with new audiences and promote our cultural events and initiatives. We will also establish a community outreach program that actively seeks out opportunities for collaboration and engagement with other cultural organizations and community groups in the state. By expanding our presence and network, we aim to strengthen our impact and promote a greater understanding and appreciation for Andean culture in Rhode Island.
